Painting white walls white. Not as easy as you might think.
Mitte was clear of snow and clean as a penny in minutes. It's not quite the same in Kreuzberg.
Potluck lunch (incl. happy goose no. 2), 'pick a present/steal a present', a visit from Father Christmas, and Bruce Willis when he had hair. Thanks to all our friends for a delightful Christmas day!

So many crafts! So many novelty sized things!
The security guard was a little embarrased to be caught out and hastily put the comb away, but when he realised Erin didn't mind, he pulled the comb back out and kept on combing the ol' 'tache
Thankfully Jimmy Stewart's cheery overacting managed to convey the heartwarming tale of It's a Wonderful Life through a thick sludge of overdubbed German.
But boy, when that cheese finally arrived, it was not only in perfect condition due to the freezer-like storage in Brussels, but also incredibly delicious.
Chilling our toes but warming our gullets at Boxhagener Platz Markt.
A snow-covered Tempelhof is overrun with cross-country skiers in lycra onesies.
