A bit of photoshop experimentation...

I am hopefully going to illustrate a friend's children's book, so I am experimenting with colour etc. Thanks photoshop! Naturally Conor, Sam and I are drinking Berliner Winter, so perhaps not quite so suitable for children...

So many thanks to my darling friends Silvie, who brought me apple and cinnamon tea. and Julia who brought me black tea with lemon, and to super darling Sam who came once with a hot water bottle and hot chocolate, and came back again with another hot water bottle and a thermos of tea! And of course thanks to all those lovely people who bought some Christmas cards. Send some christmas joy! Or at least, a silly picture.

Kaisers shoppers are a mix of scraggly old punks, turkish immigrants and hipsters. This guy was a weird mix of all three.

I ripped up our kitchen lino last week, and discovered wooden floorboards in perfect condition. It sure is hard work to keep them that way.
