Dangerous imaginings of wooly doom.

Now feeling somewhat wary of what this new crochet addiction could turn into....

Crochet your way to warmth this winter.

Give a man a scarf for Christmas, he wears the scarf. Alternatively give a man a ball of wool and a crochet hook for Christmas, he gets obsessed with youtube tutorials and counting stitches and nothing can pry that crochet hook out of his fingers until he has run out of wool or needs a cup of tea.

Year of Open Source meets my lust for DIY.

2013 is going to be the year when Sam's Year of Open Source project collides spectacularly with my obsession with DIY. Hellooooooo Open Design!

While Martin's away, the Kefir will play.

So Martin has gone back to NZ for a wee holiday, and we have the (dubious) honour of looking after his Kefir bug. It soaks in milk, and we are drinking it a teaspoon at a time as Martin warned us that too much of could possibly lead to explosional durchfall. Sam is going to try to use it as a sourdough starter. I'll keep you updated...

A bit of photoshop experimentation...

I am hopefully going to illustrate a friend's children's book, so I am experimenting with colour etc. Thanks photoshop! Naturally Conor, Sam and I are drinking Berliner Winter, so perhaps not quite so suitable for children...
